The Verve-“Bittersweet Symphony (Live at Glastonbury 2008)”

The Verve proves why the 90’s was one of the greatest eras for rock. Just an amazing band.

  1. Thank you for this! I am a child of he 60-‘s and know good Rock n Roll. My issue wuth much of the music in the 90’s is that so much is just digitiized. Not from hands & mouth to instrument, no matter if it be lead guitar, base, piabo, horns, voice… its music,

This band has all that. Great slide work by the lead and speaking of vocals, what a voice!

I enjoyed. And I was surprised. Thanks again. ~ BB

Hey no problem, I would point out all of the grunge bands and other bands in the British alternative scene like Oasis and the Stone Roses who break out of the electronic label. Hope to see you around on the blog!

      • Thank you for such a kind welcome!
Recently while sorting my vinyl collection I noticed something that had never hit me before; despite being involved with the great San Francisco USA sounds of the 1960’s my entire collection consists with a majority of British Bands of the era. EPIC Clapton, Pink Floyd, The Who, not to mention bands like The Hollies, the Rascals..
I was stunned that I had never noticed this before. We are richer for the music from this country to be sure.

I’ll be back, you have a great blog. content that will take me some time happily, browsing and listening through it
        Thanks again ~ BB
